ABUNDANCE

Shanghai. Art Fair

It is a word that is in my core values; it has been around for the past 2 years, and I have pondered on what it means to me.

Abundance is the idea that we have so much around us that is awe-inspiring, but we miss it for various reasons. Abundance is the opposite of scarcity.

I think of a garden brimming with exquisite flowers, birds, and busy bees. Abundance is a harmonious ecosystem wherein all elements contribute to the garden's overall well-being. This garden serves as a metaphor for one's life, and the individuals who enter it are akin to friends, colleagues, and people you meet along the way who visit and pollinate, hopefully enhancing its beauty and vitality.

Who is visiting your garden? Do you have people lifting you, or are they coming into your garden and spoiling it?  Look around and carefully consider these people you let into your garden! Sometimes, people slip in, and they’re not there to tender your garden (sometimes planting a few weeds).  If they aren’t, it might be time to prune back the weeds and start again. It sometimes happens very subtly. You don’t even notice it.

Elevating one's vibrational frequency is another aspect of abundance. I love this ‘Raise your vibrations’.  It is easy to get stuck at time; however, dedicating time to introspection, reflection, and attentive listening to one's inner wisdom. As Ram Das astutely observed, "The quieter you become, the more you can hear." This tranquillity facilitates a deeper connection with life's profound currents, resulting in a profound sense of abundance and fulfilment.

Look around today, this week, this month and see the abundance around you; sometimes, we come from lack when we have so much to be happy about and so much in our lives.

Who is in your metaphorical garden? Are they bringing in joy, support, and uplifting you?

My final words are, ‘ Negativity is the opposite of abundance.
